We have an open position on the Planning Commission. The Commission meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. The Commission is responsible for reviewing the applications for zoning permits, ensuring the applicants meet setback and other zoning requirements. Interested persons should complete the Application for City Boards and Commissions form found under the Resident Information – Forms/Permits tabs on the website or by contacting the Mayor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On April 7, 2021, Gibbon will begin celebrating the 150th anniversary of its founding. The Mayor is forming a committee to assist in the planning for this celebration. Anyone interested in volunteering to serve on this committee should contact the Mayor at email@example.com. The goal is to have a good cross-section of citizens and community organizations involved on this committee.
