Nebraska's World War II Veteran Recognition Program

In 2025, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, Governor Jim Pillen and the Nebraska Department of Veterans Affairs are launching a special initiative to recognize the brave men and women who served during this pivotal time in history.
We are seeking your help to identify any WWII veterans living in the Gibbon area. If you or someone you know is a WWII veteran, we want to honor their service and sacrifice.
As a community, we are committed to supporting our veterans, and we are proud to join in recognizing their incredible contributions.
